Waveform ProLink 5G
4.3
Image: Waveform
Waveform has been building fixed-wireless antennas for years — the MIMO 4x4 Panel is one of the most-recommended upgrades for cellular modems. The ProLink 5G is their own outdoor CPE using that accumulated RF knowledge.
Reasonable middle-ground pick: cheaper than UniFi, more polished than bare-bones Yeacomm, with good US-based support. If you already own a Waveform antenna and want to upgrade the modem side, this is the natural match.
Pros
- Sold by the same team behind the Waveform MIMO antenna line — proven RF pedigree
- Internal 4x4 MIMO antenna array tuned for US 5G bands
- PoE-powered with a single outdoor Cat6 run
- Good US-based support and install documentation
- Pairs naturally with Waveform's own antennas if you need more gain
Cons
- Lower ceiling than the UniFi 5G Max in best-case conditions
- No native WiFi — needs a router indoors
- Firmware updates less frequent than GL.iNet or Ubiquiti
